The municipality Salvatierra-Agurain is an industrial, agricultural and cattle-raising Town situated in the Cuadrilla (Region) of Agurain-Salvatierra, which is located to the east of Álava, on Álava's eastern plain known as the Llanada Oriental Alavesa:

BERGARA

The town of Bergara is located at the centre of the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country, in the southwest of the province of Gipuzkoa, in the Upper Deba valley. Standing at a major communications crossroads where the Eibar-Vitoria motorway meets the Beasain-Durango transverse route, it is equidistant from the three provincial capitals, Bilbao, San Sebastian and Vitoria. Bergara is an industrial and services centre with a well-preserved historical centre.

The town has grown considerably over the last few decades, especially as a result of industry in the area, spreading along the River Deba basin and areas where the valley widens.
