Kaunas county special school

Type of Facility:

Kaunas county special school is specialized and intended for the children and young people of 6-21 years age with ataxy and complex disabilities and requiring special education.

Aim of the school - to pursue the programs of comprehensive education, to give possibilities to gain primary, basic and secondary education, to organize the process of education, to prepare children for the self-dependent life and successful social integration.

The school has about 190 workers and about 150 schoolchildren.

Annual Energy Consumption:

Total school area is 11387 m² (3 floors). The school consumes on the average 234.3 MWH of electricity and 254000 m³ of natural gas.

Main Energy Consuming Equipment:

The building uses natural gas for heating and hot water.
